Privacy Policy
This policy explains what we collect when you use the Capability Assessment, how we use it, and the choices you have. "We" means Framework Solutions Group, LLC, based in Chicago, Illinois. Questions go to kaylasimsconsulting@gmail.com.
The short version
- We use your answers to build your capability profile.
- We never sell your information.
- Profiles are drafted with the help of AI. Records for school and program cohorts are reviewed by a person before delivery.
- Your answers are used for research only if you say yes.
- You can ask us to see, correct, or delete your data at any time.
What we collect
- Your assessment answers: your name and email, school or program, what you do now, your experiences, goals, scenario and rating answers, and the stories you write. Some background questions (like pronouns or identity) are optional.
- How you use your profile: when you open it, the reflection questions you answer on it, the path you choose, and the steps you check off.
- Payment details: handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Messages: anything you send us by email or through a form.
How we use it
- To score your assessment and write your profile.
- To send your profile, reminders about missing answers, and service messages.
- To fix errors and improve the assessment.
- If you took the assessment through a school or program: to share your record with that program's staff and to prepare program-level summaries, as described in our agreement with your program.
- For research, only with your consent (see below).
How we use AI
We use Anthropic's Claude, through its commercial API, to help draft the written parts of profiles from your answers. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, data sent through the API is not used to train its models. Scores come from a set scoring framework, not from the AI's opinion. Records for school and program cohorts are read and approved by a person before they are delivered.
Research
We study whether this kind of capability work helps students. Your answers are included in research only if you say yes on the assessment. Research data has names and emails removed. If you say no, you still get your full profile, and your answers are left out of all research counts and exports. Research that involves students may also be reviewed by an institutional review board. Participants under 18 need a parent or guardian's permission.

We may also share information if the law requires it.
Your profile link
Your profile lives at a private web address. It is not listed on our site and is marked so search engines skip it. Anyone you give the link to can open it, so share it only with people you choose. Answers you type on your profile are saved in your browser and sent to us so they aren't lost.
Students and schools
When we work for a school, we act on the school's behalf. We use student information only to provide our services to that school and its students, under the school's direction and our agreement with it, including applicable student privacy laws such as FERPA. The Capability Assessment is not directed to children under 13.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your profile is active and as needed for the purposes above. When you ask us to delete your data, we delete it or remove your identity from it within 30 days, unless we must keep something by law. Program data is kept as set out in our agreement with your program.
Security
We limit access to your information, use secure connections, and review every record before it goes out to program cohorts. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion.
- Change your research answer at any time.
- Skip optional background questions.

Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell people with active profiles.
